My daughter
won’t stop crying and screaming in the middle of the night. I visit her grave
and ask her to stop, but it doesn’t help. I sit alone hearing the piercing
noise of my daughters cry as I realize that it’s my fault… I buried her alive.
“Mommy….
Mommy…. I promise next time I'll listen… please don’t do……..”
“Mommy….
Mommy…. I promise next time I'll listen… please don’t do……..”
“Mommy….
Mommy…. I promise next time I'll listen… please don’t do……..”
Those damn
words just kept pushing their way into my head over and over again.
Those were the last words of my daughter.
I
never thought that the murder of my daughter would come back to haunt me… at
all. (I felt like what I was doing was for a good reason.)
Until… one
night I was sitting at home alone watching the 10 o’clock news and I had just
gotten up to go get some pizza and I heard an excruciating screaming noise. I
just brushed the noise off; I figured it was one of the kids from down the
road. I sat back down to finish the news, I start to doze off and before I know
it I'm jumping out of my chair to the noise of a screaming child.
I sit for a while still alone just thinking about the screaming and realizing
that it sounded like my daughter. I get up, go outside and just sit on the
front step.
I start to
hear crying and more screaming…
…
…
